Flower City Songwriters: Garden Concert (Outdoors)

After a summer of writing and creating together, the Flower City Songwriters will hold their first outdoor Garden Folk Concert on the grounds of the Historic Bovaird House.

First Nations singer-songwriter Pamela Levi from Elsipogtog First Nation has been leading an interactive songwriting circle at the Pendergast Log Cabin for the summer! Join the writers and musicians as they share their experiences and work created over the summer during this intimate outdoor gathering.

Pam Levi is a First Nations singer/songwriter from Elsipogtog First Nation with three independently recorded albums. She has collaborated with many artists and spends most of her time at her family’s recording studio, where she works as an audio engineer and a supporting artist for other artists. She has appeared on APTN’s The Candy Show and has performed with the Barra McNeil’s, Jesse Cox, Hubert Francis and many others.

As a facilitator, Pam has hosted songwriters circles with David Myles, Naomi Shobha, Lucie Idlout and Dave West. She shares her love of writing with her whole musical family and sees music as self-therapy because, for her, it is medicine.
