Celebrate Brampton’s vibrant Indo and Afro Caribbean diaspora throug​h food and music at JAMBANA, the Emancipation Day cele​bration.

August 1 is recognized and observed globally as Emancipation Day, the day to commemorate the abolition of slavery of people of African descent across the British Empire and in Canada.
